Application for Serving on an Upcoming Conference Retreat

God calls us to serve. Jesus tells us we must serve one another. To serve on a retreat means you are offering yourself to be used by God for the purpose of someone else's faith. It's a step toward perfection in love. In such an offering, your own faith is strengthened as you take joy in being used by God for the growth of another.

The Covenant

Every participant for a conference retreat must agree to and sign a covenant. It's how we begin to prepare for being a part of what God calls us to be. Here's the covenant we ask you to agree to before you finish this registration. Read through it and make sure you agree to follow it. If so, click the box. If not, you may wish to think and pray about just why you wish to serve.

--
PARTICIPANT COVENANT (To be signed by participant) -
I agree to act in a Christian manner.  I promise to respect God, respect myself, respect other people, and respect property.  I agree to participate in all the activities asked of me as a staff member and recognize this retreat is not for my benefit but for those whom I serve and, most importantly, for God's glory.  By agreeing to this covenant, I am stating I will not do the following activities: possess illegal drugs, non-prescribed medication, alcohol or tobacco products, a weapon, or fireworks, disrespect authority, or take part in any other activity or action that leaders deem as inappropriate. I promise to strive to make this retreat and each activity the best it can be!
